Canada will be celebrating it’s National Flag Day this February 15 of 2011. This celebration commemorates the inauguration of the Flag of Canada last Ferbruary 15 1965. Although it’s not consider as a legal holiday, institutions like school and government offices held public ceremonies and events in honor of the historical event.

The  “Maple leaf flag” is flown on buildings, museums, schools and even private homes.  Some people wear pins in the form of the flag.  Canadians take pride of their unique culture and history.  It’s the time of the year that all Canadians unite to give honor and respect to their country.
